Perennial. Hardy. Height approximately 12″. Also known as ransoms. Dark Green leaves with a garlic scent and spikes of white flowers in early Spring. Flowers, leaves and bulbs are all edible. Use in salads, cream cheeses, quiches and pasta dishes. Grow in partial shade on a light soil or full sun on a heavy soil. Will tolerate most conditions other than waterlogged.
